TUNES FOR TUITION
A Music Festival benefiting SJP II Alumni Scholarship Fund
Pope-A-Palooza Music Festival will benefit the Saint John Paul II Academy Alumni Scholarship Fund. SJPII Academy was founded in 1980 and to date has graduated over 6,500 students. The Eagle Alumni Legacy Scholarship was established when a group of alumni got together to ensure that children of a deceased alumnus, Gary Polanin ’83 would be able to attend the school. Gary was a great friend and very passionate about his alma mater. In 2008 only one Legacy child attended the school. That number has grown to 66 legacy students currently enrolled for this 2023-2024 academic year. Over 170 legacy students have graduated from SJPII Academy with 11 Alumni children receiving scholarships. Our goal with this event is to help more Alumni students attend SJPII Academy. Many Alumni remain in the area and are valuable contributors to the community.
